Stunning the World

I've had this blog for several months now, and I've done very little with it. This is because I am waiting to have brilliant ideas so that I can stun the world with the depth of my perception. This brilliance is slow in coming, and I'm tempted to give up blogging entirely.

Particularly since I'm pretty sure nobody's reading this.

However, I had it on the best of authority from fellow writers at the fantastic NorthWords Writers Festival in Yellowknife last weekend, that a blog is a "must-have" for writers in this day and age.

So what I'm going to do now is forget about stunning the world, and write whatever comes into my head. This is particularly easy since I'm sure nobody is reading, and that we're living in a Universe where we're all bloggers but none of us are bloggees.
